Rangos HallLocated on the second floor of Carnegie Mellon’s University Center, Rangos Ballroom is our main haunt for the weekend. It has a large, flexible floor, a great stage for The Cash Box Kings to rock on Saturday, and a parking garage next door that’s free for the entire duration of the event. Woohoo! Plus, the University Center has lots of restrooms for refreshing between events and is walking distance to numerous restaurants.

Soldiers and SailorsOur premier dance venue for both the Friday evening and late night dances provides ambiance that is both elegant and grandiose at this gorgeous hall, featuring a beautiful hardwood floor with a balcony above for watching or catching your breath. This venue has been proven at prior PittStop events and is back by popular demand! Movie buffs should note that Anthony Hopkins was filmed in a cage here for Silence of the Lambs.

The parking garage below the hall will remain open until 5:30 am for the late night dancers!

Wightman School Community Building

The Wightman School in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood was built in 1897 and now used as a community center. It also hosts the weekly Saturday night Swing City. This venue is in a residential neighborhood, so please be quiet outside.
